The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible clinician-educator to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine within its nationally recognized Department of Pediatrics in Charleston, South Carolina. Qualified pediatric sleep specialists will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and sustain a comprehensive sleep medicine program serving both pediatric and adult populations. About MUSC’s Sleep Center:
MUSC’s Sleep Medicine program offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of sleep disorders across all ages, integrating expertise from pulmonology, neurology, psychiatry, pediatrics, ENT, and behavioral health to deliver individualized, patient-centered care. Physicians benefit from access to advanced therapies including CBT-I, surgical interventions for CPAP intolerant patients, and both in-lab and home sleep testing within a system of accredited sleep centers extending across South Carolina. This program is supported by the state-of-the-art Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Pearl Tourville Women’s Pavilion, a 250-bed facility advancing pediatric and women’s care, as well as the Summey Medical Pavilion, a dedicated outpatient center offering comprehensive pediatric specialty services in a highly accessible, centralized setting.
Required Qualifications:
BC or BE Pediatric Sleep Specialist who has completed an ABSM Sleep Medicine Fellowship
Committed to MUSC’s educational missions and enthusiastic about teaching
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with interest in program development opportunities
